Mission Statement: The firm's mission is to provide professional services on a personal level while achieving high quality and creative results.  Despite the complexity cases present, we remain practical and utilize common sense in achieving success.  We are committed to being accessible and putting forth the required effort to provide superior legal services in an effective, timely and efficient basis.  By paying attention to detail, our clients can make informed, intelligent and educated decisions.  We understand only by obtaining results, exceeding client expectations, demonstrating high ethical standards and developing positive relationships will the firm continue to service our clients, as well as develop clients in the future. 
 
McLean & Associates is rated as an AV-Preeminent law firm, the highest professional rating available for legal ability and ethics.  The firm is located in downtown Missoula, Montana, but provides services across the great State of Montana in a diligent, loyal and dedicated fashion.  We have handled cases in Montana’s Federal and State Courts, its Tribal Courts, before Montana’s administrative agencies and before the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.  We strive to provide high quality legal services, but in a personal way through fostering relationships with our clients.  While litigation can be expensive, we recognize an efficient approach must be taken in all cases, and efficiency means focusing on the key details and key issues in a case.  While we have witnessed the approach of dedicating and billing for unnecessary resources and personnel, we believe such an approach serves to escalate costs, yet fails to meaningfully advance the case towards conclusion.  Quite simply, we will not take such an approach.  We are committed to accurately assessing and understanding a case early so resources and effort can be appropriately focused through the matter’s conclusion.  When cases do proceed to trial, we are focused only on winning, which can only occur through professional and prepared presentation.
